Why I stopped running ads
and started building systems.

I started in paid advertising, running campaigns that performed well on paper. But the businesses did not always grow the way the numbers suggested they should. Leads went unanswered. Appointments went unconfirmed. Customers bought once and disappeared.

The advertising was never the problem. What happened after it was. So I stopped thinking in terms of campaigns and started thinking in terms of the entire customer journey — attention, follow-up, conversion, experience, retention. One connected system, not a series of disconnected tasks.
